If all you need is 5250 display emulation, it is hard to beat the Mocha
emulator for price. (www.mochasoft.dk) It is $25/copy or $250/company
license).

For 19 years I have worked with the engineers of 5250 emulators made for
SSI, Emerald, Andrew, Nlynx, Netsoft, Attachmate, DCA, Connectronnix, and
others. Their company is now Synapse (http://www.synapse.com) and they are
still heavily in the 5250 emulation business.

They have IP Client Display only for $89 and IP Client Bundle (dsp, prt, sql
file xfer) for $179. At only 7MB on the desktop with no mods to the
registry or \windows\system it is a bargain from a tech support standpoint.
I don't think a 5250 feature exists that is not in their software. They
support all version of Windows (16bit and 32bit) in both SNA and TCP/IP
protocols.
