  Just type BALPRINT and press the HELP key.  If I remember correctly (it's
been quite a few years) you have to set up a group of at least 2 printers
and then run BALPRINT to start it.  It should all be in the help text.

  Basically, it shifts spools from one writer to the next based on
availability.
