Rusty,

Try the Retrieve Directory Entry Attributes (QHFRTVAT) API.

Subject: Verify Folder Existence

Can anyone tell me how to verify that a folder exists? I have an
interactive screen program that requires a user to enter a folder. I want
to verify that the folder exists. I have tried the CHKOBJ OBJ(objname)
OBJTYPE(*FLR) command but it is not working. How else can I determine if a
folder has already been created?

Thanks,
Rusty Luse
