One thing we did was to put the device in its own subsystem and use a signon
screen that has the user ID and password as non-display fields with default
values. The user signs on by pressing ENTER, which is what the signon screen
prompts them to do.

Subject: Auto Signon
Is there a way to have a 5250 session signon to the system
automatically. I could pull the username and the password from the display
station name.
My problem is that this is a Kiosk of sorts, and when a network
problem occurs the session is dropped back to the login screen, I would
like it the then log itself back in. I have a friend that thinks he
remembers something about doing this but cant remember how. Possibly in the
subsystem?
Chris
