I am using CAE v5r1 with OS v4r4. I have been using not only 5250 but Ops
Nav as well. You should be alright - just get the newest service pack
(there is one from Aug. 26 I believe).

Will a client (PC) running C/A Express V5R1 or V4R5 connect to a machine
running OS V4R4 ?

Need only basic functions, 3250 display and file transfer. Ops Nav
functionality is unimportant.
