Last October Midrange Computing published an article titled "Message
Description: Do You Copy?". The Web site is still running (don't know for
how long) so you can still get the download package and installation
instructions. If you think the article would be helpful and you don't have
that issue, I could forward a copy.

The WRKMSGD command does not allow for copying of messages.  Is there a
technique or utility that provides this capability ?  My particular
focus is
standard I/O error trapping for write, chain and update errors.
I would prefer to standardize the error messages (as opposed to copying
and
making changes) however the need to show the key data elements as
separate
labeled fields within the message seems an obstacle.  -Dave K.
