Chris,

This is not such an easy thing to do. You can use the CPYSPLF command and it
will get some of the text in the spool file into a database file for you.
But there may be numerous AFP objects referenced by the spool object. There
are a number of spool file APIs that you can use to query the objects
(fonts, page definitions, graphics, etc.), extract them, etc. They are
reasonably complex. I believe there is a system API guide specifically for
these print APIs.
