>Now how does a search on the Midrange >Computing site not turn this up where >a search on an external site (Google) does? I mean NO disrespect for the folks at Midrange Computing, but I know exactly how a thing like this occurs: By writing my own search engine instead of buying the best. I can't speak for MC, but I know that all the places I have worked for have a strong tendency to "do it yourself." As far as Google goes, try appending a site to your search; if looking for an IBM reference, search on "DDS reference site:ibm.com" If somebody tells you that Midrange Computing had an article on FIXDECERR, you could search on "fixdecerr site:midrangecomputing.com" and only look on MC's pages.
