I've had some success with talking about the hardware.  How long has it been 64-bit?   

I've also had some luck with "No one ever got fired for buying Microsoft"  -  It just ain't so anymore.  Its turning into Russian Roulette with some of the MS products.

this is the iSeries "in the news" for the year.
I did catch on a training session on the etNetwork statellite, that 98% of
the Fortune 100
run AS/400s. There also was some study earlier this year (Gardner or
Aberdeen or someone
rating the iSeries the "best " application server in the market today.
Probably in ibm news or go
to Gardner, etc & look from the studies.
