John, has anyone helped you out with this. If not, email me privately and I'll try to send them to you tomorrow. Glenn -----Original Message----- From: John Taylor [mailto:jtaylor@rpg2java.com] Sent: Friday, August 03, 2001 5:47 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Need info from a V5R1 system. All, I need a favour from someone with access to a V5R1 machine with the Host Servers installed. What I'm after is the subsystem descriptions for QSERVER and QSYSWRK. You can print them to an output queue with the following commands: DSPSBSD SBSD(QSERVER) OUTPUT(*PRINT) DSPSBSD SBSD(QSYSWRK) OUTPUT(*PRINT) Once on the output queue, the easiest way to get them into a format suitable for email delivery is to use OpsNav to locate the spooled files (named QPRTSBSD), then just use your mouse to drag the spool files onto your Windows desktop. The files will be converted to ASCII and renamed with a ".txt" extension. Please send those files to me at jtaylor@rpg2java.com.
