I think it makes good business sense to for IBM to leave the AS/400 as it is
with "No new Developments or OS releases"--let it stabilse for a couple of
years or so.
In that  time frame IBM should try and come up with a "super" linux system
that will out perform OS/400.If they could do with the AS/400 in 1988,they
could repeat that success again.Im sure( they deserve a chance)
Thats the way I see it
