What about for a one-time occurance?

If someone wants to take records in DB2 files on the 400 and replicate them
in MS SQL just once, as in a conversion or to build test data, what would be
a good way to do that?

Can you do this with Java - connect to an as/400, get a result set, then
connect to NT and  insert the rows?
