Debbie,

The usual question, every time this hits the list, is why are you using a
random number generator?  The reason I am asking is, if you are looking for
a random key to a file you may be better served by using UUID.  I was going
to look up some references to UUID in the archives, but Dave's website is
looking really slow right now.  But dang, the email turnaround is amazing!
