Go for it, Use a DSL Router / Cable Router like SpeedStream or LinkSys at the home, A GOOD Firewall on your end, and depending on IP Forwarding, Sockets, ODBC and other other tools you want the user to have access to, maybe a VPN with the 400's native L2TP and a Client tool like SoftPK from IRE...
