What's the PTFs for the DB? On the IBM Support site, http://www.as400service.ibm.com/ under the PSP section is a link to all the group ptf's by release. For V4R5 these are the groups (and SF99105 Database is one) The date at end of description is last update. You obviously don't need "all" because some are for very specific products. I load the products I've got and the Hipers (high impact (as in "system hang") fixes since the last cumulative). Database is everyone. Still wish they would do a group for TCP covering telnet, lpr/lpd, etc). hope this helps - jim franz > > > > SF99162: 450 Version 1.1 Connect for iSeries V4R5 07/27/2001 > > > SF99161: 450 iSeries Connect 5733-B2B V1R0M0 06/22/2001 > > > SF99142: 450 WebSphere Standard 128 Bit Encryption 5733-AS3 V3R5M0 > > > 07/13/2001 > > > SF99138: 450 WebSphere Advanced 128 Bit Encryption 5733-WA3 V3R5M0 > > > 07/13/2001 > > > SF99136: 450 WebSphere Advanced 128 Bit Encryption 5733-WA3 05/11/2001 > > > SF99135: 450 WebSphere Advanced 56 Bit Encryption 5733-WA2 05/11/2001 > > > SF99134: 450 WebSphere Standard 128 Bit Encryption 5733-AS3 05/11/2001 > > > SF99133: 450 WebSphere Standard 56 Bit Encryption 5733-AS2 05/11/2001 > > > SF99129: 450 Websphere Commerce Suite V5.1 for V4R5M0 06/06/2001 > > > SF99128: 450 Websphere Commerce Suite V4.1 for V4R5M0 06/27/2001 > > > SF99126: 430 Net.Commerce V3.2 Enhancements 03/09/2001 > > > SF99105: 450 DataBase 06/15/2001 > > > SF99096: 450 Hipers 07/31/2001 > > > SF99083: 420 Network Station 03/30/2001 > > > SF99082: 370 Network Station 11/01/2000 > > > SF99077: 450 Backup Recovery Solutions 07/11/2001 > > > SF99068: 450 Java 04/22/2001 > > > SF99037: 450 Performance Tools for AS/400 05/11/2001 > > > SF99036: 450 IBM HTTP Server for AS/400 07/27/2001 > > > SF99035: 450 IBM HTTP Server (powered by Apache) for iSeries 07/27/2001 > > > > > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > > From: <slegg@ovec.com> > > > To: <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> > > > Sent: Wednesday, August 01, 2001 1:34 PM > > > Subject: We're going to v4r5 this weekend... > > > > > > > > > > Saw mentioned on the thread about Enough grunt for v4r5 about some > PTFs > > > for DB > > > > that are needed to avoid performance degradation.
