Alan, <<Why has a User Profile the ability to sign onto the system more than once? <<Surely, the user can only work on one session at a time. If so, why not limit the number of sessions to 1 per <<User. What advantage would there be to having more than 1 session per user? One reason is that they want to be in different parts of the application at the same time. So they'll enter one session and be doing payment entry. They want to start a second session and have that in account inquiry. (yes, they can get to account inquiry with a couple of function keys, but they don't want to do that - users - go figure.) It's faster for them to select the second session since it's always on the screen they want to get to.
