× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

I had always thought that if you changed the rules, you had to recompile all 
the programs that use the rules, which could be a lot of programs.

Recompile the reference.
Recompile all DDS that use that reference.
Recompile all RPG that use that DDS.
Exception
not have to recomile CL or RPG that calls the RPG that you recompiled
