There's no TCP/IP on SSP 7.5 so you can't ftp or telnet unless you have an
OS400 side where you can set up a PPTP PPP dialup.

The Synapse Remote/SDLC card only does 802.2 so that's out.  Nlynx/DD
dropped theirs which was the former Andrew/Emerald (and also original
Synapse (SSI) remote).

How about (ugh!) PC Anywhere?
