We are running at 9406/740 Feature Code 2D6D with 8 processors and 8 gig of main storage.

When we installed our system in 1999,  our main storage amount appeared about right, but now I am not so sure.  We are getting larger and larger page faults especially during the day.

During max usage, we have 8 batch jobs running and up to 800 or so interactive jobs.

On a separate note, does anyone have a good link on discussing activation of Symettric MultiProcessing to enable SQL to spread activity over mutliple processors ?
