I create more command wrappers than most do because I definitely agree on that point. I've always viewed them as 'prototypes for CL' and had excellent luck. It certainly resolves the CMD() vs. RQSDTA() issue. But the point was to illustrate a difference between CMD() and RQSDTA(). The sample code should fail for CMD() and work for RQSDTA().
