It isn't clear exactly what you're having trouble with. (But I'm not sure 
you're going in the right direction from the beginning.) It seems you know well 
enough about creating PDM options and you have created a customized "Create 
Object" function which works.

But now you want to go a step farther and have the create run in batch. Correct?

If so, then what problem are you running into?

With nothing else to go on, I'd suspect you would have trouble with SBMJOB's 
CMD() parameter. You might want to try the RQSDTA() parameter instead, which is 
where the real action takes place anyway.

Have your function determine the initial command string and then prompt it with 
QCMDCHK or QCAPCMD, then place the returned command string into 
RQSDTA(&CmdStr). Ignore the CMD() parameter completely.
