Lurton, I think the only relief currently is when the job ends normally - at least, I always feel relieved then. ;) Seems like if you're running the performance monitor its fields are sized large enough to enable the data to be captured for review later, but that isn't very helpful while the job is running. I can just imagine someone on Project PACIFIC ("Performance Ain't Critical If Function Is Complete") thinking "It will take a 4-megabyte S/38 model 7 22 weeks to do that much I/O, that should be big enough."
