We have around 300,000 DLO files. It backs up fine using the standard
backup (from GO BACKUP/all folders), but apparently it puts them all in one
file on tape and it is taking forever (9 hours and still going) to restore
one file. I tried guessing which volume it was on, but RSTDLO said it
wasn't at the beginning and wouldn't let me, so I had to start at the first
tape.

Before this happens again ...

Am I doing something wrong?

Is there a different command other than RSTDLO, I should be using?

If I had used SAV (and RST) instead of "all folders" (and RSTDLO) would it
go more quickly?

Any ideas?
