Use the Highest density that the S/36 will do. than be sure to use the 36 restore cmds like..

RSTS36F            Restore S/36 File
RSTS36FLR      Restore S/36 Folder
RSTS36LIBM    Restore S/36 Library Member

by default files end up in QS36F.

Like wise to move data back use cmds like

SAVS36F           Save S/36 File
SAVS36LIBM    Save S/36 Library Members

I have a _real_ S/36, and 2 AS/400s (9402-C04, and a 170).  All have a 1/4" tape drive. I need to save a library from the S/36 and restore it to either of the 400's (I'd prefer the 170, but the old 9402 will do in a pinch).  Any ideas on tape density, etc?
