I think IBM plans on making 2003 the last year of the System/38/AS/400/iSeries product line, so I'm thinking how best to manage this situation from a career perspective. --------- I'd like to see any official verification of this statement. With no place to move RPG programs, IBM loses a huge base of existing customers. Hard to see that happening. What may happen is the development of a box that supports both OS/400 and other operating systems simultaneously. Heck, that's already happening, and I like it. But to say that the very last AS/400 will be built some 20-odd months from now is an awfully inflammatory comment, especially with no backing. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
