Chris,

Re: your NETSRVR profile... Can you tell me what user class and special
authorities you're using for this profile? Are there any special object
authorities I should be aware of?

using ops nav, open your system and select network, server, tcp/ip

select AS400 Net Server and right click selecting properties. Under the
advanced tab look for the Guest profile. It should be at the top. To
change click on the next start button. Change your guest profile to one
that exist and is enabled. I created a profile call NETSRVR with no
password no initial program and initial menu of *signoff. Work great
for
me.

Thanks, Chris, but can you give me a little more detail on how to do
this?

Check your guest profile setup in Netserver. If some one deleted it,
well
you can guess what happens. Sounds like the guest profile has been
deleted
or disabled.
