Kathleen,

It's been a while, but a "true" S/36 SDA session had an option to create
the WORKSTN file I/O specs.  See if it's still there.

Otherwise, when you compile the S & D specs the system can automatically
create DDS specifications.  You can use those DDS within SDA and a S/36
program.  There is no difference between a compiled S & D member and
it's created DDS member as far as the S/36 program can see.

I have a program to create the WORKSTN I/O specs from a DSPFFD ->
*OUTFILE of a display file if you are interested.
