I haven't seen all this thread (been off getting educated) but I used to do
what I think is something like your requirement by launching the Word
document with an autorun macro that did whatever I wanted (in this case
print and exit). I used to run the Word document from the PC Organiser
(remember that? Now *there* was a rubbish piece of software ...) but I bet
the same principle would work from RUNRMTCMD.

Thanks.  That works, but I want to take it a step further.  I want to
ultimately do a RUNRMTCMD from the AS/400 job scheduler to print a
specific document.
