  • Subject: CA Express v4r4m0 file transfer

I have a PC with CA Express v4r4m0 on it and I'm trying to do a file
transfer from an AS/400 that has v4r5. on it. I'm getting a PWS0006 error
message, that says "Value for parameter is not valid." The same transfer
request and PC works on a v4r4 and v4r1 system with no changes! I have PTF
SF65706 on the PC, I've also tried loading on another PC just the base CAE
as it ships without PTF's and get same results.

OS/400 is at the latest Cum PTF level and any PTF's that reference this
message are on and applied. I can find no outstanding APAR's on any problem
similar (looking on the IBM web-pages).

Any ideas?? Does OS/400 v4r5 require having the PC at the same level or is
there a problem here.

Jerry
