I'm not familiar w/Domino, but converting the spool to .pdf should be easy to email (the .pdf is written to a dir in the ifs of the as/400. I use a the Spoolamatic tool from www.gumbo.com . Instead of emailing, i have a web page point to the url of the .pdf file, and the user's browser and the free Adobe Reader display/print, keeping all the formatting. At 156 char, that must be landscape? Your email pgm (if automated) could attach the file on the ifs directory. There are lots of tools for emailing reports (and quite cheap). jim ----- Original Message ----- From: <RickCarter@holley.com> To: <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> Sent: Thursday, June 21, 2001 5:06 PM Subject: Transferring Spool Files from AS400 > I have a 156 byte spooled output that I want to move to a PC for emailing. > I've used a couple of options and both work but I can't print the report > once it's moved. > > The Operations Navigator allows me to drag the spooled file to my PC and it > becomes a .TXT file.
