Hello,

we have an 820 with the 6718 disk units (17GB) all mirrored. 20 drives so we
get 170GB net space.

We'd like to create an ASP2 with 2 drives for journalling (also mirrored). A
short talk with our CE told us to:

               - remove 2 units from ASP1 (mirrored pair)
               - create ASP2
               - add unconfigured units to ASP2

Makes sense to me - do you know any gotcha's ? We are currently at 52%
capacity.

My main concern is performance... Is one mirrored pair enough for
journalling - how do I calculate performance?

We have a second business unit on a remote site also with an 820. I'm
thinking about switching to remote journalling
in the long run. What are the points here - is a 2Mbit leased line enough?

Thanks for your comments,

Oliver
