Do you want your logical file to have a member for each physical file member, or do you want a single logical file member to reference all the members in the physical file? Look at the DTAMBRS parameter on CRTLF and ADDLFM. The default is *ALL, which will create a member based on all physical file members that exist at the time the logical file member is created. As you add physical file members you will have to either add new logical file members to match them, or remove the main logical file member and re-add it. It depends on how you're using the files. -Jim James Damato Manager - Technical Administration Dollar General Corporation <mailto:jdamato@dollargeneral.com> -----Original Message----- From: Falconberry, Ron G. Try using the ADDLFM for each logical file and specify the new member name. This will add the member to the logical file. But when I add a new member, the logical does not get updated. Can someone tell me what I should do other than recompiling the logical every time a member is added. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
