  • Subject: AL! We're (or is it just me?) waiting for you to say it's time to upgrade to V5

Al, I hope you see this. You know, of course, that some of us are waiting
for you to say that
it's time to do the V5 upgrade on our machines. I can only speak for
myself, of course,
but you're the man I'll follow, well, at least regarding AS400 upgrades.

If you've already made this announcement, I apologize for missing it.

I saw that at least one cum is out. This is usually the time for me to
place my order.
But, I fear that IBM has caught on to the "wait for the first cum" strategy
and have adjusted accordingly.

As far as I remember, I've NEVER had a beta of anything on my machine.
Neither have I had thousands of volunteers to help me test and debug a
program I wrote.
I'll leave that to the braver at heart who have more time to play

Please let us know when it's time.

Thanks.
