Al,

I have cable internet access with ATT @Home. I never use any of the @Home
stuff. I especially don't use their proxy server because it's much slower
than without it. I do use their e-mail server, their news server, dhcp, and
dns. (I don't have much choice.)

They just raised their rates from 39.95 to 45.95.

I use Word, Excel and Outlook in order to be compatible with work. Even
being at different versions causes trouble with work so I upgrade when they
do.

Phil

That is a good choice for corporate.

Now here I am on my home PC but perhaps this is the wrong list for this
interest.
I recently got high speed internet so I am exploring alternatives to AOL,
like what browsers do I have to choose from & the pros & cons of each
and what e-mail choices & pros & cons of each
then how to move my favorite bookmarks to new selection

The reason I leaving AOL nest is combination of slow ma bell & Advertising
On
Line kicking me off for accessing sites with other advertisers.
