I tried that kinda,   Actually,  I compiled it interactively,  took the
source member from the source file that was created in QTEMP,  and compiled
it from that source that was actually passed to the RPG compiler.   I got
run time errors.  Something was missing.

Hi John,

If nothing else, you should be able to use the TOSRCFILE parameter of the
CRTSQLRPGI command. That will put the expanded intermediate source into a
different source file. You could then compile that with DBGVIEW(*LIST) or
whatever.
