Re: V4R5 compile down to V3R2?

so why was this very useful feature removed from V5R1?
Don't say that IBM cannot afford to provide this anymore.
I can understand that if my program uses an API that
does not exist at earlier releases than it won't work, but
let that me my choice or decision, not IBM's.
