*** NOTE: Read this entire message before replying! Folks: First and foremost ... if anyone suspect they are missing a significant number of messages, please contact me PRIVATELY and let me know. Try to identify a pattern if possible. Please be aware: Message delivery is largely out of my control, as mail is sent to my ISP (via UUCP) for delivery. My ISP's mail server handles the actual delivery. Unforunately, my class of service isn't very high on their priority list. I am hoping to change this in the near future ... I'm actively pursuing getting a DSL line installed When this happens, the ISP will be taken out of the loop and I'll be delivering the mail directly. As for the excessive quoting of messages ... the only thing I can do is ask people to pay attention to what they quote and how they send. I also have to ask that everyone else be as tolerant as possible ... some mail programs are more flexible than others and allow control over such things. MS Outlook (one of the most popular email programs available) is notoriously inflexible. I do post the guidelines monthly and the same guidelines are sent to every new subscriber upon confirmation on their subscription request. When the DSL line gets installed, I will be switching to a new mailing list system that is also more flexible (and better maintained) than MAJORDOMO... so I might be able to correct some stuff here. If you have any questions or comments on either of these topics, please contact me PRIVATELY!
