If they simply add a 128-byte (or whatever size) field to the user profile
that's used as the external userid for non-AS400 networked systems, they are
under no obligation to add that field to the system-supplied outfiles, or
API's, much as we might want them.

It occurred to me after I sent the last email that they also have a
10-character object name for QDLS documents, which generally have longer
names.
