more list etiquette

/on soapbox (again?!?!?)/
I purposely jumped to a new thread to basically add to my "rant" from the
previous thread "ENOUGH,,,,, with the copied stuff".  I have also thrown this
to the MIDRANGE-L list; for those of you not on the RPG400-L list, you may
wish to check the May 2001 archives for the "ENOUGH,,,,, with the copied
stuff" to see where we've been with this for the past few days.

Please, PLEASE, change the "Subject:" when you start drifting from the
original subject.  As a habit, I normally read each email and have found some
threads that have gone on for several days and have veered way off the
original topic.  During those days that I am too busy to read all the posts, I
will delete certain subjects without even reading them.

Please lay off the personal attacks!  I personally think less of someone,
regardless of their expertise, when they start attacking others on the list.
Take a deep breath, and re-read your reply before you hit the "Send" button
and show your foolishness to the world.  If you are "tongue-in-cheek", or are
"joking/kidding", remember that no one on the list can see your face, or
interpret your expressions.  Use emoticons when appropriate.
