Spelling dictionaries are often found in library QDCT and/or directory /QIBM/ProdData/Dictionary if products such as 5716-DCT (Language Dictionaries for OS/400) or 5769DL1 (Dictionaries and Linguistic Tools) are installed. Users can also create their own dictionaries using system commands such as CRTSPADCT (Create Spelling Aid Dictionary). The dictionaries are not installed as part of OfficeVision, and can be used independent of OV with OS/400 APIs such as Check Spelling (QTWCHKSP). Note that the dictionary object is not a simple text file that one can simply look at to see what words may be in it. Bruce > >Try WRKOBJ *ALL/*ALL *SPADCT.
