I think it's time to call IBM. Oh, wait, are you with IBM? I'm guessing from your email address (mihai_badea@ro.ibm.com) that you might be with IBM in ... Romania??? Anyway, here in the U.S., the situation you describe would be an immediate call to the IBM Support Line. Is there any mention of the particular situation in the special instructions for that cume PTF? Good luck! (Whatever is said in Latin seems profound.) -------------------------- Original Message -------------------------- Hi everyone. I have a problem with applying a cumm PTF on V4R3M0. I have detected a problem in a LIC module so I restored on the system only the LIC and OS/400 from the installation CDs. After the restore I tried to apply the last cumm package for V4R3 - C0280430. The PTFs were loaded OK but the applying of PTFs failed. In the log I found some OS/400 PTFs that were not applied. The reason was that some prerequisite LIC PTFs were not applied permanently. When I looked to the LIC PTFs indicated by the system, the PTFs were PERMANENTLY APPLIED. I tried to apply the OS/400 PTFs manually (APYPTF ...) but the result was the same. Does anyone know what should be done in this situation to apply the previously mentioned PTFs. I'll appreciate any input. Thank you.
