It might have been easier to explain the original problem rather
than a question concerning ptf install times. There are stated 
methods for ptf installation and methods for checking a successful
install of the ptf's. Many people go through the PTF install every
single day, so any problems would surface very quickly and you 
would have gotten a "more correct" answer.
