Bill,

What is supposed to happen to the selected records? Interactive SQL returns
the selected record set to the display. RUNSQLSTM is assumed to be batch.
You need to SELECT INTO or otherwise direct your output for this to run
correctly.

Subject: RUNSQLSTM

I'm trying to run a SQL Select statement using the RUNSQLSTM command. It
fails, telling that the "select" statement is not allowed. I can run the
statement from the SQL Command Line interface. Any ideas why this will not
work. The statement looks like the following:
 SELECT
  PSSTYL||SUBSTR(PSSSFX,1,7) AS SKU,
  COUNT(*),
  DECIMAL(SUM(PSQPUL),7,0) AS TOT_TO_PULL,
  DECIMAL(AVG(PSQPUL),7,0) AS AVG_TO_PULL,
  DECIMAL(MAX(PSQPUL),7,0) AS MAX_TO_PULL
  FROM PSPULL00
  WHERE
   PSZONE <> 'V   ' AND
   PSRPTY = '5' AND
   CURRENT DATE - 5 DAYS <=
   DATE(SUBSTR(DIGITS(PSDCR),6,2)||'/'||
        SUBSTR(DIGITS(PSDCR),8,2)||'/'||
        SUBSTR(DIGITS(PSDCR),4,2))
  GROUP BY PSSTYL||SUBSTR(PSSSFX,1,7)

Thanks,
Bill Erhardt
