I'm more worried about paying taxes to the i-series nation, now that I'm a citizen. I could now be paying income tax to the state, the feds, and my new country. I'm sure the value of the signing bonus is in the two figure range (low end), if you include shipping and handling. I'm still curious about the aforementioned national anthem and pledge. I think I'm too old for the (i-series) draft unless things get really scary. <g> -----Original Message----- From: Glenn Ericson [mailto:Glenn-Ericson@att.net] Sent: Thursday, May 10, 2001 11:09 AM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: RE: iSeries Nation - Free Gift Joel Not to worry, You saw the list of gifts and have an idea of the value. IBM is also very aware of the limits before this has to be reported. Your Back Pack or whatever the other gifts listed are below those limits It is a well thought out move this i Series Nation program. They do know where to find us. <g> > -----Original Message----- > From: Don [mailto:dr2@cssas400.com] > Sent: Thursday, May 10, 2001 9:10 AM > To: 'MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com' > Subject: RE: iSeries Nation - Free Gift > > > > Uh, well....if you wanna put it on your 1040, go for it....:) > > > > On Thu, 10 May 2001, Joel Fritz wrote: > > > Important questions.
