Well the message has all the necessary job information.  If you code it to
check the current job process and handle the exceptions, such as let job XYZ
keep running and end the job after the process completes.

I like it! Our problem, though, is that the same users that run long jobs
also sometimes switch off their workstations, so we've got a situation
where *sometimes* we want their jobs to time out and *sometimes* we don't
(and how the heck is the AS/400 supposed to know the difference?).

Just another reason why humans continue to be necessary. . . . . ;-)
