Sound like someone has mis-interpreted statements that IBM's 'green
screen' interfaces to OS/400 will not be updated to mention 'iSeries' but
will continue to mention 'AS/400'. There is no way IBM is going to
withdraw support for the hundreds of thousands of twinax devices that are
attached to AS/400 - iSeries systems, even though they don't actively sell
them anymore.

Hello all,

A collegue of mine told me that IBM has announced the phasing out of green
screen terminals with the iSeries and V5R1. Only IP devices will be
supported.

Is that true?

Where can I find official IBM document regarding this?

Thanks
