I am always amazed when people like a platform so much they think nothing
else can hold a candle to it. Does everyone really think a few ads at the
Superbowl or whatever are going to stop people buying other platforms ??

The iSeries is not the beginning, the middle and the end. There will ALWAYS
be room for other servers. The iSeries is a fantastic box, what it does, it
does well, and it now even does stuff it wasn't designed for really well.

However it does severely lack a marketing push from IBM. In this respects
the iSeries reminds me of another fantastic computer.

The Commodore Amiga.
