I had previously assumed that CPU speed and CPW rating were closely related. Apparently I was mistaken. Midrange Computing recently published charts that would suggest otherwise. For example, the model 170-2160 has a 100 Mhz Apache processor and a CPW rating of 114, while the model 170-2290 has a 200 Mhz Northstar processor and a CPW rating of only 73. Can anyone explain this? Is there a governor on the 170-2290 that causes it to handle less work than the 170-2160? Thanks, Nathan. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
