Some people deserve to stay on a dumb tube. We've been converting all the dumb tubes here to PCs, and we're at the point where we have like 2 left. One of the last ones I converted we waiting on because this user was just too slow, and using a PC would slow her down. Well, she complained enough that we finally got her a PC. Set up client Access and other programs, but all she uses is client access. Now, she's used a dumb tube here for years, logs in every day. Now she keeps asking me what her user name is. Some people deserve to stay on a dumb tube. Yup, it's my opinion, and it's based on some experience. All users aren't idiots, but many are. I have one guy who's terminal & profile need to be reset every couple of weeks because he keeps messing up his password. He's been with the company, using the same terminal and application, for five years. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
