New Cumulative PTF for OS/400 V4R4
by Timothy Prickett Morgan

Our buddy Doug Bidwell, of iSeries Business Partner DLB
Associates, has put together his latest snapshot of the OS/400
PTF situation. This week, as you will learn, there is a
new cumulative PTF release for OS/400 V4R4. There probably
won't be many more major updates for V4R4, since it is set
to be removed from IBM's service on May 31, 2001. IBM has
also updated the database within other OS/400 releases, and
it has also released a bunch of new HIPER PTFs. To check
out the latest OS/400 PTF Guide, click here:

Then on  04-13-01 appeared:

Updated OS/400 PTF Guide, At Your Service
Doug Bidwell, of iSeries Business Partner DLB Associates,
has put out the latest of his PTF Guides to reflect IBM's
most recent postings:
http://www.midrangecomputing.com/ptf/010416a.cfm. IBM has
released new HIPER PTF patches, as well as patches for its
WebSphere middleware.
End of story
